One Research Fellowship for PhD student is opened under the scope of the project GOLEM - Automated Programming to Revolutionize App Development (Lisboa-01-0247-Feder-045917), funded by FEDER, POR Lisboa 2020, ANI - Agência Nacional de Inovação and Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, I.P., under the following conditions:

 1. Main research field: Computer Science

 2. Admission Requirements:  The candidates should have a MSc in Computer Science and Engineering or Similar.

 3. Work Objectives: The work plan of this scholarship consists in designing an automated mechanism to evolve model-based applications based on the programming approach developed by GOLEM. This work contributes to the general architecture of project GOLEM and connects with the concept-based synthesis procedure and its integration with the OutSystems platform.

 4. Supervision: The work plan will be supervised by Professor João Costa Seco.

6. Place of work: NOVA Laboratory for Computer Science and Informatics (NOVA LINCS) - Departamento de Informática, Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, Universidade Nova de Lisboa.

 7. Duration: The position will be contracted for 3 months, possibly renewable in accordance with the provisions of Regulation of Research Fellowships from FCT I.P.

 8. Amount of the Fellowship: monthly payment by bank transfer of €1144,64 net according to the regulations of the FCT Scientific Fellowships in Portugal (https://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/docs/Tabela_de_Valores_SMM_2022.pdf).

 9. Selection Method: The selection will be based on the following criteria:

i) (40%) Academic record of the candidate

ii) (60%) relevance of research experience for the development of the work plan

The jury may also decide not to assign the scholarship if none of the candidates meets the required conditions.
