The teaching is structured in accordance with the Bologna model in 3 cycles: Undergraduate (3 years), Master (2 years) and PhD (4 years).
Under the system of Portuguese Higher Education, the DI-FCT-UNL confers the degrees of Licenciatura em Engenharia Informática (Undergraduate degree in Computer Science - 1st cycle), Mestrado em Engenharia Informática (Master in Computer Science - 2nd cycle) and Mestrado em Lógica Computacional (Master in Computational Logic - 2nd cycle), and Doutoramento em Informática (PhD in Computer Science - 3rd cycle).
