Joana Parreira, student from the Integrated Master in Informatics Engineering (MIEI), received the NOVA Young Talent Award as the best student from the 1st year of MIEI in the academic year 2016/2017.
The NOVA Young Talent Awards aims to distinguish the best students of the 1st year of each of the Bachelor and Integrated Masters of NOVA, by awarding a prize in the amount of one-year tuition fee.
The NOVA Young Talent Awards ceremony, previously designated as ‘Bolsa Caloiros da NOVA’, took place on the 8th of June at the Rectorate of NOVA.
For Joana Parreira, currently in the 2nd year, the MIEI Integrated Master in Informatics Engineering of NOVA is "a program that values logical reasoning and challenges our limits. In Informatics Engineering, I have discovered a program where I feel I belong to.”
