Luís Caires, director of NOVA LINCS, was elected Executive Board member of Informatics Europe for the period 2018-2019.
The candidates were elected at the Annual General Assembly of the organization, at the 13th European Computer Science Summit held in Lisbon, 23-25 of October, 2017.
Executive Board Members are responsible for different projects and activities in areas of interest for the academic and research community in Information and Computer Sciences in Europe and act as ambassadors of the organization in their countries or regions.
Informatics Europe represents university departments and research laboratories, with 120 members institutions, across 30 countries in Europe.
