A group of 43 students from 10th and 11th grade of Escola Secundária da Amadora have visited the Department on February 26, under the FCT-NOVA initiative “Vem Ver”.
The challenge proposed to these students was a “Game Programming with Python”. During this activity, based on the game “Asteroids”, the students may understand the logic of a computer game and learn the basic concepts of programming applying this concepts on a simple game.
From DI we had the participation of João Moura Pires, João Costa Seco, Fernando Birra, professors from the DI, and Fábio Mano and Joana Ferreira, MIEI students.
