The school Liceo Scientifico "Enrico Medi" from Italy, visited Portugal to show to their final year students of secondary education the international mobility opportunities at FCT NOVA. The visit took place on 18 March under the FCT-NOVA initiative “Vem Ver”.
The DI challenge proposed to this group of 48 Italian students was a “Game Programming with Python”. During this activity, based on the game “Asteroids”, the students may understand the logic of a computer game and learn the basic concepts of programming applying this concepts on a simple game.
From DI we had the participation of professors Fernando Birra, Miguel Goulão, João Moura Pires, João Costa Seco and of MIEI students Joana Pereira, Fábio Mano, Luís Silva e Francisco Rodrigues.
