As usual, the discipline of the MSc in NOVA Computer Engineering “ Integrator Project” (IP), lead to a prize award to the group that presented the best project this school year. This year, the Portuguese company Sonae launched the challenge.
The awarded students were Gonçalo Mordido, Ivo dos Anjos,Filipe Cabrita and Francisco Fernandes with the work entitled "Worten aconselha" ("Worten advises").
This award was presented at session held on July 8 iat FCT-NOVA. FCT-NOVA’s Dean, Professor Fernando Santana, opened this session where the three named groups presented their work before a jury panel which included the discipline’s teacher, João Moura Pires, and four Sonae senior members . Nuno Miguel Miller - Head of Business Information Technology – from SONAE, gave the awards to each of the students of the winning group and thanked the collaboration with the Computer Science Department (DI).
